What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cinnabon FDD, a franchisee is required to obtain support for the POS system from an approved supplier, which may include Cinnabon or its affiliates. The franchisee must obtain support for the POS System as detailed in a separate agreement. Cinnabon, through its affiliate, will provide help desk services for the POS system and other related support services as described in Schedule A of the POS System Support Services Agreement.

The POS System Support Services Agreement details the support services, which include comprehensive support and billable support. Comprehensive support includes enterprise-level database changes and maintaining synchronization between the POS system and third-party service providers. It also includes remote technical support services, troubleshooting, and assistance with configuration issues. Billable support is available at an additional cost.

To receive support services, the Cinnabon franchisee's POS system must be in good operating condition and meet the minimum specifications. The support services do not include support for hardware and software that is not part of the minimum specifications, training, troubleshooting internet service, or hardware maintenance. The franchisee is responsible for implementing temporary procedures to ensure continuous operation and for backing up their files and data.
