If Cinnabon terminates the agreement, when does the termination become effective?

- b. This Agreement shall terminate immediately with respect to the Franchised Business upon the effective date of the termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement for the Franchised Business.
- c. Company may terminate this Agreement for any reason or for no reason by giving written notice of such termination to Franchisee at least sixty (60) day prior to the effective date of such termination.

- With respect to franchises governed by Minnesota law, we will comply with Minn. Stat. § 80C.14, Subds. 3, 4, and 5, that require, except in certain specified cases, that a franchisee be given 90 days' notice of termination (with 60 days to cure) and 180 days' notice of non-renewal of the Franchise Agreement, and that we not unreasonably withhold consent to the transfer of the franchise.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement will terminate immediately with respect to the franchised business upon the effective date of the termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement for the Franchised Business.
Cinnabon may also terminate the agreement for any reason, or for no reason at all. To do so, Cinnabon must provide written notice to the franchisee at least 60 days prior to the date the termination is to take effect.
However, for franchises governed by Minnesota law, Cinnabon will comply with Minn. Stat. § 80C.14, Subds. 3, 4, and 5, that require, except in certain specified cases, that a franchisee be given 90 days' notice of termination (with 60 days to cure).
