If operating a Cinnabon Satellite Retail Unit, is there a specific addendum that applies?

According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Satellite Retail Unit Addendum is required when operating a Cinnabon SRU. This addendum modifies the standard Franchise Agreement to account for the specific circumstances of operating a smaller, satellite location.

The addendum covers various aspects of the franchise agreement. For example, if operating an SRU, the franchisee must provide Cinnabon with an executed copy of the lease for the SRU location before commencing operations. Additionally, the franchisee must purchase or lease the SRU and related equipment from Cinnabon's designated supplier and get written approval for the design and any modifications to the SRU.

Several sections of the standard franchise agreement are amended for SRUs. These include sections on site acceptance, relocation conditions, opening deadlines, leasehold improvements, and approved products.
