What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnabon Franchise Disclosure Document, if you operate an Express Bakery, you will sign the Franchise Agreement in addition to the Cinnabon Express Schedule, which is attached as Exhibit C to the Disclosure Document. An Express Bakery is defined as a bakery where you produce and sell a limited selection of Cinnabon products from a space that will typically be located in another restaurant, food service facility, or business approved by Cinnabon, referred to as the Host Facility.
Typically, Cinnabon offers the opportunity to operate an Express Bakery located in a Schlotzsky's restaurant, which would be the Host Facility. However, in limited circumstances, Cinnabon may offer the opportunity to operate an Express Bakery that is not located in a Host Facility or in a Host Facility that operates under a brand other than Schlotzsky's.
Therefore, as a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that if you are granted the opportunity to operate an Express Bakery, the Cinnabon Express Schedule will be an integral part of your Franchise Agreement. You should carefully review Exhibit C to understand your rights, responsibilities, and obligations under the Express Schedule.
