What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnabon Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must obtain Cinnabon's consent to operate an Express Bakery in a Host Facility. Cinnabon will evaluate any request to operate an Express Bakery in a Host Facility.
This means that if a prospective franchisee is considering opening an Express Bakery within another business's location (the Host Facility), they must first seek and secure approval from Cinnabon. This evaluation process ensures that the proposed location and business arrangement align with Cinnabon's brand standards and operational requirements.
This requirement protects Cinnabon's brand and reputation by ensuring that Express Bakeries operating within Host Facilities meet certain standards and are compatible with the Cinnabon brand image. It also allows Cinnabon to assess the potential impact of the Host Facility on the Express Bakery's operations and profitability.
