For a standard Cinnabon franchise, the high end of the computer system investment is $32,000. For a Cinnabon trailer franchise, the high end of the computer system investment is $20,000.
The computer system encompasses various components, including the POS system, computer hardware and software, mobile hardware, an online ordering platform, telephone lines, network connections, communication equipment, high-speed internet access, and credit, gift, and loyalty card processing equipment. The specific components include a back-office PC, monitor, multi-function printer, POS system terminals, a firewall device, a dedicated iPad or Windows tablet/computer, and a POS system server, along with related software, phone and network connections, and equipment.
The franchisee is required to either purchase, lease, or license and install the computer system at their Cinnabon bakery. The estimate includes the cost of purchasing the POS system from Cinnabon's designated approved supplier under the CapEx Program.
