What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnabon Franchise Disclosure Document, a Cinnabon Concession Bakery, which involves selling a limited range of Cinnabon products from a concession trailer or food truck at events like fairs and markets, is exclusively offered to existing franchisees who meet specific qualifications set by Cinnabon.
This means that new franchisees cannot directly apply for a Concession Bakery. Instead, they must first establish themselves as franchisees with a traditional or express Cinnabon location and then meet the criteria determined by Cinnabon to be eligible for a Concession Bakery.
For prospective franchisees, this implies a staged approach to expanding their Cinnabon business. Starting with a Full Bakery or Express Bakery allows them to gain experience with the brand, build a relationship with the franchisor, and demonstrate their ability to successfully manage a Cinnabon outlet before being considered for the Concession Bakery option. This approach reduces risk for both the franchisee and franchisor, ensuring that only experienced and qualified individuals operate the mobile concession units.
