What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Subsequent Trainees are defined as any Managers, Primary Contacts, Directors of Operations hired or appointed after the opening of the Franchised Business, and any other persons Cinnabon designates. These Subsequent Trainees must attend and successfully complete Cinnabon's Management Training Program (or a modified version) before they can be involved in the operation of the Cinnabon franchise.

This requirement ensures that all personnel involved in the operation of the franchise, even those hired after the initial opening, are properly trained in Cinnabon's standards and procedures. This helps maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. The training requirement for Subsequent Trainees is in addition to the training required for the initial Required Trainees before the franchise opens.

Cinnabon may also require employees transferring from another business to complete the Management Training Program again. This ensures that even experienced employees are fully aligned with Cinnabon's specific operational standards. The cost for Subsequent Trainees to attend the Management Training Program is a reasonable training fee designated by Cinnabon, which is currently $250 per trainee per day and may be increased annually by no more than the Allowed Adjustment.
