What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnabon FDD, 'Affiliated Programs' refers to other franchise programs that are affiliated with Cinnabon through control by private equity funds managed by Roark Capital Management, LLC. These affiliated programs do not operate Cinnabon franchises.
Specifically, Inspire Brands, Inc. is a parent company to several franchisors, including Arby's Franchisor, LLC, Baskin-Robbins Franchising LLC, Buffalo Wild Wings International, Inc., Dunkin' Donuts Franchising LLC, Jimmy John's Franchisor SPV, LLC, and Sonic Franchising LLC. Inspire Brands also has parent companies to franchisors that operate internationally.
Other affiliated programs include McAlister's, Moe's, and Schlotzsky's. Subway also became an Affiliated Program through an acquisition in April 2024. School of Rock is also listed as an affiliated program. The FDD states that none of the affiliated franchisors are obligated to provide products or services to Cinnabon franchisees; however, franchisees may purchase products or services from these franchisors if they choose to do so.
