What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cinnabon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the classroom portion of the food safety training is currently conducted online. The food safety segment consists of 9 hours of classroom training and 2 hours of on-the-job training.
In addition to food safety, Cinnabon provides classroom training for station/position training (3 hours), service program (1 hour), guest recovery (2 hours), running a successful shift (5 hours), and retail tech (2 hours). The remaining topics are taught through on-the-job training at a Certified Training Location.
This means that prospective Cinnabon franchisees and their employees will complete the food safety portion of their training remotely before starting the hands-on portion at a certified training location. This setup allows for flexibility in scheduling and potentially reduces travel costs associated with initial training.
