What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cinnabon Franchise Disclosure Document, a Concession Bakery is a specific type of Cinnabon outlet. It involves selling a limited selection of Cinnabon products from a concession trailer or food truck. These mobile units are intended to operate at temporary venues such as fairs, shows, markets, and other special events.
Importantly, Cinnabon does not offer Concession Bakery franchises to new franchisees. This option is exclusively available to existing Cinnabon franchisees who meet specific qualifications set by the company. If an existing franchisee is approved to operate a Concession Bakery, they must sign the standard Franchise Agreement in addition to the Concession Bakery Schedule, which is included as Exhibit C in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
For prospective franchisees, this means that owning a Concession Bakery is not an initial option. Individuals interested in this format must first establish themselves as successful Cinnabon franchisees with another type of bakery, such as a Full Bakery or Express Bakery, and then meet the criteria set by Cinnabon to expand into the concession model. This approach allows Cinnabon to ensure that Concession Bakeries are operated by experienced individuals who are already familiar with the brand's standards and operational procedures.
