What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cinnabon Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must provide any assistance that Cinnabon requires to integrate the franchisee's POS system with Cinnabon's headquarters system. This integration must occur as early as possible and in the manner that Cinnabon prescribes.

Cinnabon franchisees are responsible for accurately, consistently, and completely recording, structuring, capturing, and providing all required information through their POS system, in accordance with all applicable laws, and for protecting such information as required. The POS system is a crucial component of the Computer System that Cinnabon requires franchisees to install and maintain.

The cost of the Computer System, which includes the POS system, ranges from $10,500 to $32,000 for Full Bakeries, $3,000 to $16,400 for Express Bakeries (excluding those in a Schlotzsky's), and $10,500 to $20,000 for Concession Bakeries, including installation and setup fees. Franchisees may incur additional expenses for extra equipment, training, or installation services. Cinnabon may also revise the specifications for the Computer System and require periodic upgrades and updates to maintain compliance with their standards, all at the franchisee's expense.
