What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not charged for required training programs, with one exception. Cinch I.T. provides an Initial Training Program that the Operating Principal, one technician, and one salesperson must complete before commencing operations. This Initial Training Program includes a Pre-Training Program and the "Cinch University" Training Program.
However, Cinch I.T. reserves the right to charge $15,000 per module for each additional person attending the "Cinch University" Training Program, for individuals repeating the course, or for subsequent personnel requiring training. This fee applies to additional Operating Principals, general managers, technicians, or salespeople.
While there is no charge for mandatory training programs (excluding Remedial Training), Cinch I.T. franchisees are responsible for covering travel costs and other expenses incurred while attending these programs for themselves and their employees. Cinch I.T. may also charge a reasonable fee for optional training programs.
