What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, a transferee seeking approval for a Development Area transfer must meet several standards. The transferee must satisfy Cinch I.T.'s current educational, managerial, and business standards. They must also possess good moral character, business reputation, and credit rating. The transferee needs to demonstrate the aptitude and ability to open and operate Cinch I.T. franchised businesses, potentially evidenced by prior related experience.

Furthermore, the transferee must have at least the same managerial and financial acumen as required of new Multi-Unit Developers. They also need to possess sufficient equity capital, as determined solely by Cinch I.T., to open and operate the number of Cinch I.T. Franchised Businesses required under the Multi-Unit Development Agreement.

At Cinch I.T.'s discretion, the transferee may be required to sign the standard form of Franchise Agreement and Multi-Unit Development Agreement, along with any other ancillary agreements. These agreements will supersede any prior agreements and may include different terms, such as the implementation of other fees. These requirements ensure that any new developer is well-qualified and financially stable to continue developing the Cinch I.T. brand.
