What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Section 9 of the Franchise Agreement pertains to a franchisee's access to Cinch I.T.'s proprietary intranet and software. Specifically, Item 11 outlines the franchisor's post-opening assistance, which includes providing access to the intranet and software necessary to operate the franchised business.
This is a crucial aspect for a prospective franchisee because the intranet and software are essential tools for running the Cinch I.T. business. Access to these resources enables franchisees to manage their operations, access important information, and potentially interact with the franchisor and other franchisees within the system.
Furthermore, Item 11 also mentions that Cinch I.T. will provide access to its confidential Operations Manual through the Intranet. The Operations Manual contains mandatory System Standards and suggested specifications, standards, methods, and procedures. The franchisor may amend, modify, or supplement the Manual at any time, and franchisees must comply with revised standards and procedures within 7 days after the franchisor transmits the updates. This highlights the importance of the intranet as a key communication and resource hub for franchisees to stay updated with the latest operational guidelines and standards.
