What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the tangible costs associated with modifying the Cinch I.T. Marks. This includes expenses related to changing signs and advertising materials. Cinch I.T. will notify the franchisee of any required modifications or discontinuance of the Marks, and the franchisee is expected to comply within a reasonable timeframe.

This means that if Cinch I.T. decides to update or change its branding, logo, or other protected marks, the franchisee will bear the costs of updating their business to reflect these changes. These costs can include replacing signage, updating marketing materials, and any other tangible items that display the old Marks.

While Cinch I.T. has no liability or obligation regarding the franchisee's modification or discontinuance of the Marks, franchisees must adhere to the franchisor's directions and complete the changes within a reasonable time frame. This ensures brand consistency across all franchise locations, but it also places a financial burden on the franchisee to keep up with any branding changes implemented by Cinch I.T.
