What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinch I.T. will provide franchisees with a current list of approved suppliers through updates to the Operations Manual or other forms of communication. This list includes suppliers designated as required and recommended.

As a Cinch I.T. franchisee, you are generally required to purchase hardware and software from suppliers that Cinch I.T. has approved, which may include Cinch I.T. itself or its affiliates. Cinch I.T. retains the right to change these approved and required suppliers over time. This means you need to stay updated with any changes Cinch I.T. communicates regarding approved suppliers to ensure compliance.

Cinch I.T. estimates that a significant portion of your expenditures, specifically 25% to 100% during the establishment phase and 90% to 100% on an ongoing basis, will be for goods and services that must be purchased from Cinch I.T., its affiliates, or designated suppliers, or in accordance with their standards and specifications. Therefore, maintaining an updated list of approved suppliers is crucial for managing your business expenses and ensuring you meet Cinch I.T.'s requirements.

If a franchisee wants to use a supplier that is not on the approved list, they can request approval from Cinch I.T., but the franchisee will have to provide sufficient written information about the proposed supplier. Cinch I.T. may also request samples of the products for examination and has the right to inspect the supplier's facilities. The franchisee bears the cost of this review, with a fee of $500 or the actual cost of the review, whichever is greater. Cinch I.T. does not have to issue their specifications and standards to franchisees and/or approved suppliers, nor are criteria for supplier approval made available to franchisees.
