What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is not refundable. The FDD states that upon signing the agreement, the initial franchise fee of $15,000 is fully earned by Cinch I.T. and is non-refundable. This means that regardless of whether the franchisee opens a Cinch I.T. franchise location, the initial franchise fee will not be returned.

In addition to the initial franchise fee, Cinch I.T. also charges an initial training fee of $30,000, which is also non-refundable once paid. This fee covers the cost of initial training for the franchisee and one additional person. A marketing starter package fee of $4,000 is required for business cards, promotional boxes, cybersecurity packets, presentation packets, referral cards, and other marketing materials.

It is important for prospective Cinch I.T. franchisees to understand that these initial fees are non-refundable, as this represents a significant financial commitment. Franchisees should carefully consider their ability to open and operate the franchise before signing the agreement and paying these fees. This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as the initial fees are used to cover the franchisor's initial expenses in setting up the franchisee.
