What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinch I.T. may develop additional training programs in the future. Franchisees must attend these programs if Cinch I.T. requires it. Franchisees are responsible for covering their travel costs and other expenses incurred while attending these programs, as well as the expenses for anyone attending with them.

Cinch I.T. does not charge for programs that franchisees must attend, except for Remedial Training. However, Cinch I.T. may charge for optional training programs. This means a franchisee should budget for potential travel and accommodation costs associated with mandatory additional training, and also factor in the possibility of paying for optional training programs to further enhance their skills or their employees' skills.

This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often update training to reflect changes in technology, services, or operational procedures. By reserving the right to implement mandatory training, Cinch I.T. ensures that all franchisees stay current with the latest standards and practices, which helps maintain consistency and quality across the Cinch I.T. system. Franchisees should inquire about the frequency and types of additional training programs typically offered to better understand the potential ongoing costs and time commitments.
