to the extent prohibited by the laws of the state where the Franchised Business is located or where the employee lives or works, which agreement is intended to protect Our Confidential Information and proprietary interest in the Licensed Rights.
- (i) We may, at Our option, from time to time but not more than once every year conduct a national or regional Conference ("Conference"). The duration, curriculum and location of Conference will be determined by Us in Our sole and exclusive discretion. You are required to attend the Conference, and to pay all of Your expenses incurred in connection with attending the Conference including transportation cost, meals, lodging and living expenses. We shall have the right to charge You a reasonable Conference Registration Fee (currently up to Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00)) for You to attend each Conference. We may charge this registration fee up to one (1) year in advance invoiced and paid via EFT as part of Your standard month

According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the national or regional conference is required. Cinch I.T. may conduct this conference no more than once per year. The franchisor determines the duration, curriculum, and location of the conference.
The franchisee is responsible for all expenses related to attending the conference, including transportation, meals, lodging, and living expenses. Additionally, Cinch I.T. has the right to charge a reasonable Conference Registration Fee, which is currently up to $700. This fee may be invoiced and paid via EFT as part of the franchisee's standard monthly billing, up to one year in advance. The Conference Registration Fee is non-refundable, even if the franchisee does not attend the conference.
Cinch I.T. will attempt to make the substantive materials presented at the conference available through the Intranet. This suggests that while attendance is mandatory, franchisees who cannot attend will have access to the information shared. This policy ensures that all franchisees stay informed about important updates and strategies, regardless of their physical presence at the conference.
