What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from employing individuals who have been convicted of, or entered a plea of no contest to, any felony. This policy is in place to preserve the validity and integrity of the licensed rights and to ensure the proper operation of the franchised business.

However, this restriction is contingent upon compliance with federal and state laws applicable to the franchisee. If any federal or state law would be violated by not employing such an individual, the franchisee is not bound by Cinch I.T.'s restriction.

Cinch I.T. also mandates that franchisees conduct reasonable background checks on all employees before hiring them and maintain records of this information as specified in the Confidential Operations Manual or in writing. This requirement ensures that franchisees are proactive in upholding the standards and reputation of the Cinch I.T. system.
