What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee signs a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, the Franchise Agreement for the first Cinch I.T. Franchised Business must be executed and delivered at the same time the Multi-Unit Development Agreement is signed. This means that the franchisee is committed to opening their first location as soon as they commit to developing multiple locations.
This requirement ensures that Cinch I.T. franchisees who plan to develop multiple units are ready to begin operations promptly. It also aligns the franchisee's and franchisor's interests in quickly establishing a presence in the designated Development Area.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Multi-Unit Development Agreement and Development Schedule to understand the obligations and timelines involved. Failing to meet the development schedule can result in the termination of the Multi-Unit Development Agreement and the loss of initial franchise fees for franchises that have not yet been opened. However, it's important to note that the Franchise Agreement for any Franchised Business already opened will not be terminated solely due to the termination of the Multi-Unit Development Agreement.
