What is an employee's obligation regarding copies of documents containing Cinch I.T.'s Confidential Information upon termination of employment?

According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, an employee is obligated to return all confidential information upon termination of employment. Specifically, the employee must not retain any copies of documentary and other materials, including software, in any form (including electronic versions) that were made, compiled, obtained, delivered, or disclosed to the employee concerning any Confidential Information or Materials of the Employer or Franchisor. The employee must promptly deliver all such materials to the Employer upon termination of services or at any other time the Employer requests.

This requirement is part of a broader agreement where the employee acknowledges that they may gain knowledge of proprietary Confidential Information or Materials during their employment and recognizes the compelling need for both the Employer and Cinch I.T. to maintain the confidentiality of such information.
