What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, a "Key Employee" is defined as anyone who is an owner, partner, member, and/or employee who acts in a management or supervisory capacity for the Franchised Business. This definition also includes anyone who functions in a sales or technician capacity.

For a Cinch I.T. franchisee, this means that individuals in these roles are considered crucial to the operation and must be identified in Addendum B of the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring these Key Employees comply with Cinch I.T.'s System Standards.

Furthermore, Cinch I.T. requires that Key Employees sign a non-disclosure, non-solicitation, and non-competition agreement, ensuring the protection of the franchisor's confidential information. The franchisee must provide copies of these signed agreements to Cinch I.T. before the Key Employees begin their employment, services, or participate in the Initial Training Program, or before they receive confidential information.
