- i) Provide you with additional training programs that we may develop in the future. Except for Remedial Training, there is no charge for programs you must attend. You must pay travel costs and other expenses you incur to attend training programs for you and anyone attending with you. We may charge for optional training programs. What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cinch I.T.'s 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally responsible for covering their own travel and other expenses incurred while attending training programs. Cinch I.T. does not charge for required training programs, except for Remedial Training, but franchisees must budget for transportation, accommodation, meals, and any other personal costs associated with attending the training.
Cinch I.T. may also charge a training fee of $15,000 per module under certain circumstances. This fee applies (i) for each additional person beyond the initial two included in the franchise agreement, (ii) for individuals repeating a course or replacing someone who didn't pass, and (iii) for each subsequent Operating Principal, general manager, technician, or salesperson required to attend modules of the Cinch University Training Program. This fee can significantly increase the overall investment for franchisees who need to train additional staff or replace personnel.
It is important to note that Cinch I.T. reserves the right to modify the training program's length, location, and timing. These changes can occur without prior notice and may impact the overall cost to the franchisee. Franchisees should confirm the current training schedule and associated costs before signing the Franchise Agreement to accurately assess their financial obligations.
