What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinch I.T. will make any training media they develop available to franchisees at their cost. This means that while Cinch I.T. provides ongoing access to their confidential Operations Manual and other training aids, franchisees may incur expenses for any physical or digital training materials the franchisor creates.

This policy has a few implications for prospective franchisees. First, it adds a potential cost to the ongoing operation of the franchise, as franchisees may need to purchase these training materials to stay updated on best practices and system standards. Second, it highlights the importance of budgeting for these expenses and factoring them into the overall cost of running the franchise. Finally, it suggests that franchisees should inquire about the types of training media Cinch I.T. typically develops and their associated costs to better anticipate these expenses.

Franchisees are responsible for travel costs and other expenses incurred to attend training programs for themselves and anyone attending with them. Cinch I.T. may charge for optional training programs. Cinch I.T. also reserves the right to charge a training fee of $15,000 per module for each additional person, each person who is repeating the course or replacing a person who did not pass, and each subsequent Operating Principal, general manager, technician or salesperson who is required to attend one or more modules of the Cinch University Training Program.
