What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Cinch I.T. Franchise Disclosure Document, Cinch I.T. requires its franchisees' general managers to sign a Non-Disclosure, Non-Solicitation, and Non-Competition Agreement. This agreement is in the form that is current at the time of signing and is included as Exhibit F to the Disclosure Document. This agreement is subject to applicable state law.
This requirement ensures that managers do not have interests in or business relationships with any businesses that compete with the Cinch I.T. concept. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the franchisor's confidential information, customer relationships, and competitive advantage.
In addition to the Non-Disclosure, Non-Solicitation, and Non-Competition Agreement for managers, Cinch I.T. also requires all employees to sign a Confidentiality Agreement, which is included as Exhibit G to the Disclosure Document. This further protects Cinch I.T.'s trade secrets and confidential information from being disclosed or used improperly.
