What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cilantro Taco Grill's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, they do provide franchisees with their current specifications for the layout, design, appearance, and signage for their outlets. However, the franchisee, along with their architect and contractor, are responsible for adapting these specifications for the construction of the premises and for obtaining all necessary permits.
Cilantro Taco Grill does not adapt plans or obtain permits for the franchisee. The franchisor retains the discretion to require franchisees to use their designated architect and/or contractors for site development and sign installation.
This means that while Cilantro Taco Grill offers guidelines, the franchisee bears the responsibility for ensuring these specifications are implemented correctly and in compliance with local regulations. The franchisee also carries the financial burden of adapting the plans and securing permits, but may be required to use Cilantro Taco Grill's designated professionals.
