Does Cilantro Taco Grill provide advertising materials to franchisees?

According to the 2024 Cilantro Taco Grill Franchise Disclosure Document, Cilantro Taco Grill will provide advertising materials to franchisees. Specifically, Cilantro Taco Grill will provide samples or digital artwork of certain advertising and promotional materials and information developed by Cilantro Taco Grill from time to time for use by the franchisee in marketing and conducting local advertising for the franchised business.

However, all advertising and promotion by the franchisee, in any medium, must be conducted professionally and conform to Cilantro Taco Grill's standards and requirements. The franchisee must submit samples of all advertising, press releases, promotional plans, materials, and public relations programs to Cilantro Taco Grill for approval. This includes materials in digital, electronic, or computerized form, or in any form of media now or hereafter developed that have not been either provided or previously approved by Cilantro Taco Grill.

Cilantro Taco Grill has 15 days to approve or disapprove the franchisee's advertising plans and materials. If Cilantro Taco Grill fails to respond within 15 days, the plans and materials are deemed disapproved. The franchisee cannot use unapproved plans or materials until they have been approved in writing by Cilantro Taco Grill and must discontinue use of any advertising or promotional plans or materials upon notice from Cilantro Taco Grill, regardless of prior approval. Any advertising, marketing, or sales concepts, programs, or materials proposed or developed by the franchisee for the Cilantro Taco Grill brand and approved by Cilantro Taco Grill may be used by other system franchisees without any compensation to the franchisee.
