You may not use our Principal Mark or other trademarks for any other business, and you may not conduct any other business from your Franchised Business location. You cannot engage in any other business (other than an additional Cilantro Taco Grill outlet) that competes with your Franchised Business, with us or our affiliates, or with Cilantro Taco Grill outlets owned by other franchisees, whether such business is inside or outside of the Territory.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Cilantro Taco Grill Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from conducting any other business from their Franchised Business location. Franchisees are permitted to operate only a Cilantro Taco Grill business at the approved location.
Specifically, franchisees cannot use the Cilantro Taco Grill Principal Mark or other trademarks for any other business. The only exception is that a franchisee can operate an additional Cilantro Taco Grill outlet. This restriction ensures that the franchisee's focus remains solely on the Cilantro Taco Grill business, maintaining brand consistency and preventing any potential conflicts of interest.
This policy is typical in franchising, as franchisors want to ensure brand uniformity and prevent franchisees from diverting resources or attention to other ventures. A prospective franchisee should understand that operating any other business from the Cilantro Taco Grill location is strictly prohibited, and adherence to this restriction is essential for maintaining compliance with the Franchise Agreement.
