What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Cilantro Taco Grill Franchise Disclosure Document, if both parties agree to changes during the Initial Term or Renewal Term, the franchisee will sign an addendum. This addendum, in the form attached as Attachment 9 or any form Cilantro Taco Grill requires in the future, will contain revisions that are added terms to the Franchise Agreement. The agreement specifies that no other changes will be made to the addendum form itself.
This means that any negotiated changes to the franchise agreement post-signing will be documented in a separate addendum. Attachment 9 serves as a template for these addenda, but Cilantro Taco Grill reserves the right to modify this form as needed. Franchisees should carefully review any proposed addenda with legal counsel to fully understand the implications of the changes.
It is important to note that the franchisee is obligated to sign the addendum if they agree to the changes. The addendum becomes an integral part of the original Franchise Agreement, supplementing or modifying the initial terms. This ensures that both parties are legally bound by the updated terms and conditions.
