What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Cilantro Taco Grill's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Non-Traditional Site can include a variety of locations. These sites are generally captive market locations where customers are readily available due to the nature of the primary business or activity at the location.
Specifically, the FDD lists examples such as gas stations or convenience stores, transportation facilities like airports, train stations, subway or rail or bus stations, and military bases or government offices. Other examples of Non-Traditional Sites for a Cilantro Taco Grill franchise include sports facilities like stadiums or arenas, amusement parks, zoos or convention centers, car or truck rest stops or travel centers, educational facilities, recreational theme parks, and hospitals.
The document also identifies business or industrial foodservice venues, locations where foodservice is or may be provided by a master concessionaire or contract foodservice provider, Indian reservations, and casinos as Non-Traditional Sites. The FDD states that if a Cilantro Taco Grill franchise is located in one of these Non-Traditional Sites, the franchisee will not receive a protected territory.
