Why are Cicis To-Go Restaurants excluded from the Item 19 Data Set?

The information contained in this Item 19 is based on the historical results of the franchised Cicis Buffet Restaurants that make up the Data Set (as defined below) for the period from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, which coincides with our 2024 fiscal year (the "Measurement Period"). The Data Set does not include any Cicis To-Go Restaurants because their operations vary significantly depending on their size and location.
There were 245 franchised Cicis Buffet Restaurants in operation as of the end of the Measurement Period. For purposes of this Item 19, we have excluded 3 Cicis Buffet Restaurants because despite our repeated requests, they did not provide us with, and for which we are not able to obtain, profit and loss information or an income statement and 2 Cicis Buffet Restaurants that are owned or controlled by our President, Jeff Hetsel. The information below is based on the results of the remaining 240 franchised Cicis Buffet Restaurants (the "Data Set").
