According to the 2025 Cicis Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee's purchase and re-opening of a restaurant can lead to reimbursement for grand opening promotion expenses. If a franchisee purchases and re-opens a Cicis restaurant and conducts a grand opening promotion approved by Cicis, the franchisee may be eligible for reimbursement of expenses incurred during the promotion, excluding salaries and benefits paid to owners or employees.

The reimbursement is capped at the amount of the Renewal Fee paid when the Franchise Agreement was signed.
