Cicis Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We currently have a Franchise Advisory Council ("FAC") that is typically comprised of 8 members, 6 of which are elected by franchisees, 2 of which are appointed by us. All members are appointed with the intent to represent Franchisee organizations of different sizes and regional locations. We retain the right and power to change this arrangement, as well as all other aspects of the FAC, and to dissolve the FAC at our sole discretion.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cicis retains the right to dissolve the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) at its sole discretion. The FAC typically consists of 8 members, with 6 elected by franchisees and 2 appointed by Cicis. The members are intended to represent franchisee organizations of different sizes and regional locations.

Cicis also has the power to change the arrangement of the FAC, as well as all other aspects related to it. This means Cicis has significant control over the FAC's composition, structure, and activities.

For a prospective franchisee, this indicates that while there is a mechanism for franchisee input through the FAC, Cicis ultimately has the final say and can dissolve the council if it chooses. This highlights the importance of understanding the franchisor-franchisee relationship and the potential limitations on franchisee influence within the Cicis system.
