Cicis Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
-
- Provide an initial training program for your Managing Owner, Operator, General Manager, and Assistant Managers. (Franchise Agreement, Sections 5.E. and 5.F.)
Your Managing Owner, the initial Operator, General Manager and Assistant General Manager must successfully complete our initial training program (the duration and scope of which may vary, depending upon such person's prior restaurant operating experience) within a reasonable period of time after the execution of the Franchise Agreement and at least 15 days prior to the opening date of your Cicis Restaurant. If your Managing Owner or Operator fails, in our sole judgment, to satisfactorily complete such program, then we will give you an opportunity to designate a new Managing Owner and/or Operator, who must be approved by us. If such newly designated Managing Owner or Operator fails to complete the initial training program to our satisfaction prior to the scheduled Opening Date, we may terminate the Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Cicis is obligated to provide an initial training program to specific personnel. This includes the franchisee's Managing Owner, the initial Operator, the General Manager, and any Assistant Managers.
This initial training is crucial for ensuring that key personnel are well-versed in Cicis's operational standards and procedures. The duration and scope of the training may vary depending on the individual's prior restaurant operating experience. The training must be completed within a reasonable timeframe after the Franchise Agreement is executed and at least 15 days before the restaurant's opening date.
If the Managing Owner or Operator does not satisfactorily complete the training program, Cicis will allow the franchisee to designate a new Managing Owner or Operator, subject to Cicis's approval. Failure to have a qualified Managing Owner or Operator complete the training before the scheduled opening date could result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. This highlights the importance Cicis places on proper training and adherence to its standards for the successful operation of a franchise.
