Does Cicis require prior written approval for alterations or improvements to the Restaurant?

According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain prior written approval from Cicis before making any alterations or improvements to their restaurant. This requirement extends to changes in design, equipment, signs, interior or exterior decor items, fixtures, or furnishings. The only exception to this rule is if the manuals expressly allow for such changes without approval.

The franchisor also determines the content of the manuals and may modify them periodically to reflect changes in System Standards.
