Which positions are required to complete the initial training program for a Cicis restaurant?
Cicis Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Your Managing Owner, the initial Operator, General Manager and Assistant General Manager must successfully complete our initial training program (the duration and scope of which may vary, depending upon such person's prior restaurant operating experience) within a reasonable period of time after the execution of the Franchise Agreement and at least 15 days prior to the opening date of your Cicis Restaurant. If your Managing Owner or Operator fails, in our sole judgment, to satisfactorily complete such program, then we will give you an opportunity to designate a new Managing Owner and/or Operator, who must be approved by us. If such newly designated Managing Owner or Operator fails to complete the initial training program to our satisfaction prior to the scheduled Opening Date, we may terminate the Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Managing Owner, initial Operator, General Manager, and Assistant General Manager must successfully complete the initial training program. This training must be completed within a reasonable time after signing the Franchise Agreement, but no less than 15 days before the Cicis restaurant opens.
If the Managing Owner or Operator does not complete the program satisfactorily, Cicis will allow the franchisee to designate a new Managing Owner or Operator, subject to Cicis's approval. Should the replacement fail to complete the training satisfactorily before the scheduled opening date, Cicis reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.
The training program's duration and scope can vary depending on the prior restaurant operating experience of the person being trained. Cicis does not charge an initial training fee for the first and second restaurants developed by the franchisee or their affiliates. However, Cicis reserves the right to charge a reasonable initial training fee for the third and each subsequent Cicis restaurant.
