What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must handle all complaints related to their restaurant. Specifically, they are required to promptly notify Cicis by telephone and in writing about all complaints, governmental actions, or inquiries concerning their restaurant.
This requirement ensures that Cicis is aware of any issues that could affect the brand's reputation or operations. By mandating immediate notification, Cicis can offer support, guidance, and ensure consistent handling of sensitive situations across all franchise locations. This also allows Cicis to monitor compliance and address any potential legal or regulatory concerns promptly.
Furthermore, the franchisee is obligated to maintain all reports affecting the restaurant or its equipment for Cicis's inspection during the term of the Franchise Agreement and for 30 days after its expiration or termination. This provision enables Cicis to conduct thorough reviews and assessments, ensuring adherence to standards and facilitating a smooth transition if the franchise agreement ends.
