What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee must vest the Managing Owner and any Operator with sufficient decision-making authority. This authority is essential for the effective and efficient operation of the Cicis restaurant.
The Operator, or the Managing Owner if they are also the Operator, must devote their full-time best efforts to supervising the restaurant's operation. With Cicis's consent, they may also supervise other Cicis restaurants owned by the franchisee or their affiliates, provided these restaurants operate under franchise agreements with Cicis.
This requirement ensures that individuals in charge have the power to make quick and necessary decisions, contributing to the smooth running of the restaurant. It also aligns with Cicis's interest in maintaining consistent standards and operational efficiency across all its franchise locations.
