Your Operator (and your Managing Owner if your Managing Owner is your Operator) must devote his or her full-time best efforts to the supervision of your Restaurant's operation and, with our consent, to the supervision of other Cicis Restaurants owned by you or your affiliate(s) and operated pursuant to franchise agreement(s) with us.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Managing Owner can supervise other Cicis restaurants if the franchisor provides consent. The Managing Owner, who must own at least 25% of the franchise, has primary responsibility for supervising the franchisee's activities.
The Franchise Agreement states that the Managing Owner (or the Operator, if the Managing Owner is also the Operator) must devote their full-time best efforts to supervising the restaurant's operation. With Cicis's consent, this supervision can extend to other Cicis restaurants owned by the franchisee or their affiliates, as long as those restaurants operate under franchise agreements with Cicis.
This arrangement benefits franchisees who own multiple Cicis locations, allowing them to leverage the expertise of a single, qualified individual across their portfolio. However, it's crucial to obtain Cicis's explicit consent before assigning supervisory responsibilities for multiple locations to a Managing Owner or Operator. This ensures that Cicis maintains control over brand standards and operational consistency across all franchised locations.
