Initial Training Fee: We do not charge an initial training fee for the first and second Cicis Restaurants you or your affiliates develop. If, based on your operating history and our assessment of your ability to train your employees for the third and each subsequent Cicis Restaurant you or your affiliates develop, we determine that you and your personnel are required to attend our training program for the third or any subsequent Cicis Restaurant, you will be required to pay us an initial training fee of $2,500. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there is no initial training fee for the first two Cicis restaurants a franchisee develops. However, for the third and each subsequent Cicis restaurant, an initial training fee of $2,500 may be required.
Whether or not this fee is charged depends on Cicis's assessment of the franchisee's operating history and their ability to train employees. If Cicis determines that the franchisee and their personnel need to attend the training program for the third or any subsequent restaurant, the fee will be imposed.
If the initial training fee is charged, it is due in a lump sum upon the execution of the Franchise Agreement. This means that the franchisee will need to be prepared to pay the $2,500 fee at the time of signing the agreement for their third or subsequent location, assuming Cicis deems the training necessary.
