Anti-Terrorist Activities.
You certify that neither you nor any of your Owners, employees, or anyone associated with you is listed in connection with any Anti-Terrorism Law, and you will not hire or have any dealings with a person so listed.
You further certify that you have no knowledge or information that, if generally known, would result in you or your Owners, employees, or anyone associated with you being so listed.
You will comply with and/or assist us to the fullest extent possible in our efforts to comply with the Anti-Terrorism Laws and, in connection with such compliance, you represent and warrant that none of your property or interests are subject to being "blocked" under any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws and that you and your Owners are not otherwise in violation of any of the Anti-Terrorism Laws.
You specifically acknowledge and agree that your indemnification responsibilities as provided in Section 14. of this Agreement pertain to your obligations under this Section 5.H.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement does include a section addressing anti-terrorist activities. Specifically, Section 5.H of the agreement outlines the franchisee's responsibilities and certifications regarding compliance with Anti-Terrorism Laws.
The franchisee must certify that neither they, their owners, employees, nor anyone associated with them is listed in connection with any Anti-Terrorism Law, and they agree not to hire or have dealings with any person so listed. Furthermore, the franchisee must certify that they have no knowledge or information that, if generally known, would result in them or their associates being listed.
Cicis requires franchisees to comply with and assist Cicis in complying with Anti-Terrorism Laws to the fullest extent possible. Franchisees must also represent and warrant that none of their property or interests are subject to being "blocked" under any Anti-Terrorism Laws and that they and their owners are not otherwise in violation of any Anti-Terrorism Laws. The franchisee's indemnification responsibilities, as provided in Section 14 of the agreement, also pertain to their obligations under Section 5.H.
