What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, details regarding the Technology and Support Fee can be found in Section D of the Franchise Agreement.

Specifically, during the term of the agreement, a Cicis franchisee is obligated to pay $100 per month as a Technology and Support Fee. This fee grants the franchisee the right to utilize certain mandated technology provided by Cicis for the operation of their restaurant. The FDD clarifies that this Technology and Support Fee is separate from any direct out-of-pocket expenses the franchisee incurs to acquire and maintain the necessary computer systems and other technologies required to comply with the Franchise Agreement and the Cicis manual.

The agreement stipulates that the franchisee must pay the Technology and Support Fee at the times and in the manner designated by Cicis or the service provider. Cicis retains the right to require franchisees to enter into a written agreement with a third-party provider under terms and conditions that Cicis approves or requires.
