What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee requests on-site remedial training for their restaurant personnel, they will be responsible for specific fees. Cicis will provide the training, but the franchisee must cover the per diem fee for the trained representatives providing the service.
In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee is also responsible for covering the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the Cicis representatives who conduct the on-site remedial training. This means that the total cost of the training will depend on the duration of the training, the distance the representatives must travel, and the local costs of lodging and meals.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisees typically bear the costs associated with additional or remedial training. It is important for prospective Cicis franchisees to factor in these potential expenses when budgeting for their restaurant's operational costs, as the need for remedial training can arise unexpectedly.
