What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Cicis Franchise Disclosure Document, the Effective Date of the Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum depends on the agreement it supplements. For the Area Development Agreement, the Effective Date of the Addendum is the same as the Effective Date of the Area Development Agreement. For the Franchise Agreement, the Effective Date of the Addendum is the same as the Effective Date of the Franchise Agreement.

For a prospective Cicis franchisee, this means that the incentives outlined in the Veteran's Incentive Program, such as waivers of certain fees, become effective on the same date as the initial agreement (either the Area Development Agreement or the Franchise Agreement) to which the addendum is attached. This ensures that the benefits of the program are aligned with the start of the franchisee's obligations and rights under the primary agreement.

It is important for the franchisee to understand the Effective Date of their specific agreement, as this date triggers the start of the incentive program and any associated benefits. The franchisee should also be aware of any conditions that could impact their participation in the program, such as maintaining good standing with Cicis. These conditions could affect the continuation of the incentives offered under the Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum.
