- Veteran's Incentive Program: If you or your owners are active members of, or were honorably discharged from, the United States armed forces and remain in good standing under all agreements with us, then we will waive your obligation to pay the development
fee under any new Area Development Agreement and the obligation to pay an initial franchise fee under any new Franchise Agreement. To participate in this program, you must sign and satisfy the conditions under the Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum attached as Exhibit D-2 to this Disclosure Document when you sign the Area Development Agreement or, as applicable, the Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to participate in the Veteran's Incentive Program, a prospective franchisee must sign and satisfy the conditions under the Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum. This addendum is attached as Exhibit D-2 to the Disclosure Document. This must be done when signing the Area Development Agreement or the Franchise Agreement, as applicable.
This program is designed to support veterans by waiving the development fee under any new Area Development Agreement and the initial franchise fee under any new Franchise Agreement. This can significantly reduce the initial investment required to start a Cicis franchise.
It is important to note that to qualify for the Veteran's Incentive Program, the franchisee or their owners must be active members of, or have been honorably discharged from, the United States armed forces. Additionally, they must remain in good standing under all agreements with Cicis. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit D-2 to fully understand all the conditions and obligations associated with the Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum.
