Amendment of Qualifying Franchise Agreements.
As long as you are approved to participate in the Program (as we determine in our sole discretion), as each Qualifying Franchise Agreement is executed, we and you or your affiliate executing the agreement will also execute an amendment to the agreement in the form attached as Attachment A hereto.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cicis's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when a franchisee participates in the Veterans Incentive Program and executes a Qualifying Franchise Agreement, an amendment is made to the Development Agreement. Specifically, as each Qualifying Franchise Agreement is executed, Cicis and the franchisee (or their affiliate) will also execute an amendment to the agreement, using the form attached as Attachment A.
This amendment is formalized through the execution of a Veteran's Incentive Program Addendum to the Area Development Agreement. This addendum serves to supplement and modify the original Area Development Agreement. The effective date of the Addendum aligns with the effective date of the Development Agreement, ensuring that the changes are synchronized with the original agreement's terms.
This addendum is an integral part of the Development Agreement and represents the sole agreement between the parties regarding the matters outlined within it. Except as specifically supplemented and amended by the addendum, the original Development Agreement remains fully effective. The addendum allows for execution in multiple counterparts, which together form a single document, and electronic execution is authorized, with photocopies of the addendum and signatures having the same legal force as originals.
