We have the right to require, in our discretion, your Responsible Broker, Office Broker, Marketing Director and Agent Support Director for the Main Office and each Additional Office (if any) (hereinafter referred to as "Trainees") to attend, and complete to our satisfaction, our then-current initial training program on the operation of a Business and the Brand Guidelines and Systems, to be provided at a place and time we designate.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Christies International Real Estate Franchise Disclosure Document, it is possible for the Responsible Broker and Office Manager to be the same person. The FDD states that Christies International Real Estate has the right to require the Responsible Broker and Office Broker to attend the initial training program.
In cases where the franchisee wants to designate one person to fulfill both roles, that person would need to meet all the requirements and training standards for both positions. This includes holding the necessary real estate licenses and completing the initial and ongoing training programs to Christies International Real Estate's satisfaction.
Combining the roles of Responsible Broker and Office Manager could streamline operations and reduce staffing costs for the franchisee. However, it also places a significant amount of responsibility on one individual, who must be capable of handling both the oversight duties of a Responsible Broker and the administrative tasks of an Office Manager.
