What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, any recommendations, suggestions, or approvals of a proposed site are not a warranty, guarantee, or representation that the site will achieve any level or amount of sales, revenue, or profit as a Christies International Real Estate business location. The franchisor's recommendation only indicates that they believe the site meets their then-acceptable criteria.
This means that while Christies International Real Estate may offer guidance or approval regarding site selection, they do not guarantee any specific level of financial success based on their recommendations. A prospective franchisee should not interpret site approval as a promise of profitability.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to conduct their own independent investigation to determine if the site is suitable for their Christies International Real Estate business. This includes assessing market conditions, local competition, and other factors that could impact the business's performance. This is a common practice in franchising, as the franchisee typically bears the risk and responsibility for the business's success.
